- 1 box of German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of chocolate syrup
- 1 cup of shredded coconut
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 8 oz whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and mix cake ingredients until smooth.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes; cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake using a wooden spoon handle.
- Mix sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup, then pour over the cake.
- Combine shredded coconut and chopped pecans, top the cake with whipped topping, then sprinkle the mixture on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
