- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 egg
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Butter for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, and egg in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Slice hoagie rolls, butter them, and toast until golden.
- Heat marinara sauce and add meatballs to coat. Assemble subs with meatballs, sauce, and mozzarella on toasted rolls.
- Broil the assembled subs for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding spices like oregano or basil to the meatball mixture.
