To whip up this delightful Garlic Herb Steak Pasta Bake, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 pound of steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 ounces of pasta (penne or rotini work well)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs (or a mix of oregano, thyme, and basil)
- 1 can (15 ounces) of crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear steak pieces seasoned with salt and pepper for 5-7 minutes, then remove.
- Sauté minced garlic and dried herbs in the same skillet for 1 minute.
- Add seared steak and crushed tomatoes to the skillet, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked pasta until well coated with sauce.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.
