Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups fresh spinach
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by rinsing and seasoning the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter until foamy.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the butter until fragrant and slightly golden.
- Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the dish and toss gently.
- Serve the salmon and spinach on plates, drizzled with garlic butter and garnished with parsley.
Notes
- Ensure not to burn the garlic for the best flavor.
- Spinach wilts significantly, so don’t worry if it seems like a lot at first.
