- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook orzo in salted boiling water according to package instructions (8-10 minutes).
- Sauté garlic in olive oil and butter in a skillet for 1 minute, then add mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted (about 2 minutes).
- Combine cooked orzo with the sautéed vegetables, add remaining butter, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.

- Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables.
- For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream or more cheese.
