Scale
Gather the following ingredients to create your own Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese:
- 4 slices of thick bread (sourdough or Texas toast work great)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 8 ounces of your favorite cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter on one side of each bread slice and layer cheese between two slices, buttered side out.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the pan.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook until the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to mix different cheeses for a unique flavor.
- Adjust garlic and seasoning according to your preference.
