These fudgy chewy browkies combine rich brownies with cookie dough for a decadent treat.

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts gently.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, drop cookie dough spoonfuls over it, then pour remaining brownie batter on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
- Cool for 15 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
Notes
- For gooey centers, do not overbake.
- Feel free to customize with your favorite nuts or chocolate types.
