Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan; heat until sugar dissolves to make simple syrup.
- Remove from heat, add lemon juice, stir, and cool to room temperature.
- Blend the lemonade base with ice cubes and heavy cream until smooth.
- Add lemon zest and pulse until incorporated.
- Freeze mixture for 30 minutes, then serve in glasses with mint garnish if desired.
