- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound beef sausage, casings removed
- 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned and drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the meat mixture in the pie crust, followed by half of the pepperoni and cheese. Repeat layers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Feel free to substitute the cheese with your favorite variety.
