Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound beef sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned and drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Layer half of the meat mixture in the pie crust, followed by half of the pepperoni and cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute the cheese with your favorite variety.
