Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies.
  6. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
