- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips (or your favorite mix-ins)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually combine dry mixture with wet mixture; stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips or mix-ins.
- Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between mounds.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
