  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Pour cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken, stirring gently.
  3. Add chopped onion and frozen mixed vegetables, mixing everything together.
  4. Cover and set the crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cut biscuit dough into quarters and place on top of the mixture, then cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Serve once the dumplings are fluffy and cooked through.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, consider adding more cream of chicken soup.
  • Feel free to use fresh vegetables if preferred.
