Ingredients

- 1 pound of breakfast sausage (or any protein of your choice)
- 4 cups of frozen hash browns
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped bell peppers and onions for added flavor
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess grease.
- Layer frozen hash browns in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese over the hash browns.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then pour over layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Check that eggs are set, then serve warm.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared the night before and cooked in the morning.
- Feel free to customize with additional vegetables.
