To make this delightful pasta, you’ll need the following simple ingredients:
- 8 ounces of fettuccine or your favorite pasta
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, simmer chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and red pepper flakes for 5 minutes.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, add pasta, toss with sauce, stir in Parmesan, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
