- 1 pound rigatoni pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook rigatoni until al dente.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown the sausage for 5-7 minutes.
- Add onion, cook until translucent, then add garlic for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes and add Parmesan until melted.
- Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
