Ingredients

- 8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or penne works best)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook the pasta until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes and dried basil; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.
- Drain pasta, add it to the skillet, and toss to coat in the sauce. Heat for 2 minutes.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
