To prepare this delicious Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 8 oz. fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil water, add salt, and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté shrimp with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder until pink, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine chicken broth and heavy cream, simmer, then add Parmesan cheese until melted and thickened.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
