  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage or ground turkey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, removing the seeds.
  3. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional sausage or turkey in a bowl until creamy.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each pepper half, packing it in well.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until tender and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve.
