Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty Italian bread
  • 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Chop the shrimp and mix with cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Slice the bread in half and hollow out each half.
  3. Stuff the shrimp mixture into the hollowed bread halves.
  4. Brush with melted butter, wrap in foil, and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Let cool briefly, slice, and serve warm.
