- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare muffin tin with liners or grease it.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing well.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Fill muffin cups halfway, add cinnamon mixture, and cover with more batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
