Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add sugar, water, and salt; stir until boiling.
  3. Stop stirring and boil until the mixture reaches 300°F.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in nuts and vanilla.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt, then spread evenly.
  7. Cool completely, then break into pieces or cut into squares.
