- 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of whipped topping
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch square pan.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add vanilla extract and fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust and top with cherry pie filling.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For best results, allow the dessert to chill longer than two hours.
- Feel free to substitute the cherry pie filling with other fruit toppings if desired.
