Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Sauté onions in olive oil until translucent, add mushrooms and garlic, cook until tender.
- Mix chicken broth and cream in skillet, add thyme, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine pasta, vegetables, and chicken in a bowl, pour sauce over and mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with breadcrumbs and Parmesan, and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables or spices to customize the dish.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
