Description

Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are a quick and easy dish featuring flaky crescent rolls stuffed with creamy, cheesy chicken. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, appetizer, or party snack.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the filling:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Assemble the crescent rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
    • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and tucking the edges to seal in the filling.
    • Place the stuffed crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake:
    • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley if desired.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Serve:
    • Serve the chicken stuffed crescent rolls warm as an appetizer or main dish. They pair well with a side salad or dipping sauce, like ranch or marinara.

  • You can add diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute cheddar cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor.
