- 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted

- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook until bubbly.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut into 3-inch circles.
- Place cherry filling in the center of each circle, fold, and seal edges.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and brush bites with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.

- Ensure cherries are pitted before use.
