- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes, then add and brown the ground beef.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
