- 1 pound gnocchi
- 2 cups Bolognese sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the gnocchi in salted boiling water until they float, then drain.
- Mix the cooked gnocchi with the Bolognese sauce.
- Layer half of the gnocchi mixture in a baking dish, add half of the ricotta, and sprinkle with a cup of mozzarella. Repeat.
- Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on top, then bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to use homemade Bolognese sauce for richer flavor.
- For extra creaminess, mix some mozzarella into the ricotta layer.
