- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 slices of crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain.
- In a bowl, combine chicken, rice, BBQ sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in bacon and half the cheddar cheese.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and add the mixture.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
