Delicious baked apples stuffed with a creamy cheesecake filling.

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work great)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup crushed graham crackers
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and core the apples, leaving the bottoms intact.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Stir in crushed graham crackers and nuts.
  4. Stuff each apple with the cheesecake mixture, leaving space at the top.
  5. Place apples in a baking dish with water, cover, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until tender.
