- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works great!)
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cubed butter and mix until coarse crumbs form.
- Fold in cheese and sausage until evenly distributed.
- Slowly add milk and stir until just combined.
- Scoop and shape the dough into balls or flatten slightly.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
