Deliciously cheesy and hearty biscuits made with sausage, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works great!)
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cubed butter and mix until coarse crumbs form.
  4. Fold in cheese and sausage until evenly distributed.
  5. Slowly add milk and stir until just combined.
  6. Scoop and shape the dough into balls or flatten slightly.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
