- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup of fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all ingredients: slice mozzarella and tomato, wash basil.
- Assemble the sandwich with mozzarella, tomato, basil, balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper between slices of sourdough.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and spread butter on the outer sides of the sandwich.
- Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve with chips or salad.
