Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Rinse salmon and shrimp, season salmon with salt, pepper, and half the Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Cook salmon skin side down for 4-5 minutes, flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until flaky.
  4. Sauté garlic in the same skillet, add shrimp and remaining Cajun seasoning, cook until pink and opaque.
  5. Add lemon juice, stir to combine.
  6. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon shrimp over it, cook for another minute, then serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • Ensure not to burn the garlic when sautéing.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
