A creamy and spicy Cajun shrimp Alfredo pasta that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients, rinse and dry shrimp, and boil salted water for pasta.
  2. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; reserve pasta water and drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté shrimp until pink and opaque, then remove.
  4. Lower heat, add garlic to skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Stir in Cajun seasoning and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Combine pasta and shrimp with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a milder dish, reduce Cajun seasoning.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
