- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced celery
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 store-bought pie crusts
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Sauté onions, bell peppers, and celery in oil until soft.
- Add garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Whisk in seafood stock and cream, simmer until thickened.
- Fold in shrimp, crab, and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp turns pink.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare pie crust in dish.
- Pour seafood mixture into crust and cover with second crust; seal edges.
- Brush with egg wash and cut slits for steam.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then serve.
