Instructions

- Mix granulated and brown sugars in a bowl, then add the brown butter and combine.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and espresso powder in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), prepare a baking pan, and pour in the batter. Bake for 25 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
