This Breakfast Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna combines layers of pasta, beef, bacon, and cheese for a hearty dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 8 slices of crispy bacon
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil lasagna noodles until al dente, then drain.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped bacon, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and eggs in a bowl until well blended.
  5. In a baking dish, layer marinara sauce, noodles, half the cheese mixture, half the meat mixture, and a cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, ending with noodles and marinara, and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding other spices or herbs to the meat mixture.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
