- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (about 3–4 slices)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, bacon, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F).
- While baking, prepare the glaze by simmering bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a saucepan for about 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the glaze over the meatballs, toss gently, and serve hot.

- These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
