Delicious Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs, perfect for parties or a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (about 34 slices)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, bacon, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F).
  5. While baking, prepare the glaze by simmering bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a saucepan for about 5 minutes.
  6. Drizzle the glaze over the meatballs, toss gently, and serve hot.
