Delicious and easy-to-make Boston Baked Cod with a crunchy breadcrumb topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of fresh cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or melted butter.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place cod fillets in the dish, drizzle with lemon juice and melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the cod.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
  7. Let rest, then serve warm.
