Ingredients
Scale
Gather these simple ingredients to whip up your fluffy blueberry biscuits:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Feel free to swap in frozen blueberries if you can’t find fresh ones. Just make sure to add them straight from the freezer to avoid mushiness!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in milk and stir gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, pat into a rectangle, and cut out biscuits.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For best results, do not overmix the dough.
- Frozen blueberries can be used directly from the freezer.
