To make your own Blackened Salmon Street Tacos, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
- Mix the spices together and rub them all over the salmon.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Warm the corn tortillas in another pan or microwave.
- Flake the cooked salmon and assemble tacos with cabbage, salmon, avocado, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges.

- For extra spice, adjust the amount of cayenne pepper.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings such as salsa or sour cream.
