- 1 pound of boneless chicken thighs, diced
- 8 ounces of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns, crushed
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in soy sauce, black pepper, garlic, and ginger for at least 10 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with chicken broth in a bowl and set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet and cook marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes until tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth mixture, stir, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
