- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup wild rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms, and bell pepper; sauté for 5 minutes.
- Combine the beef mixture, wild rice, soup, beef broth, salt, pepper, and thyme in a bowl.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, cover with foil, and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, then add cheese and bake for another 15 minutes.

- Feel free to add other vegetables or spices to suit your taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
