Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by cutting beef and chopping vegetables.
  2. Optional: Sear the beef in a pan for added flavor.
  3. Add beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf to the crockpot, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Check seasoning, remove bay leaf, serve, and enjoy.
