- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 large carrots, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by cutting beef and chopping vegetables.
- Optional: Sear the beef in a pan for added flavor.
- Add beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf to the crockpot, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Check seasoning, remove bay leaf, serve, and enjoy.
