  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and brown it, breaking it apart until no longer pink.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Cook orzo in boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and mix into the beef and sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
