  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic with the beef until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Combine cooked egg noodles with the meat sauce in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
