- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups cooked egg noodles
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic with the beef until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine cooked egg noodles with the meat sauce in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Fresh parsley can be used as a garnish for added flavor.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers for more nutrition.
