Ingredients

- 1 pound of beef (flank steak or sirloin works best)
- 2 cups of celery (sliced thinly)
- 1 cup of bell peppers (sliced, any color)
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon of ginger (grated)
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain, mix with cornstarch, soy sauce, and salt, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat and add vegetable oil.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes without stirring, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds, then add celery and bell peppers; stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan, add oyster sauce and a splash of water, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the stir fry over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the vegetables based on your preference.
- For extra flavor, you can add sesame oil before serving.
