  • 1 pound ground turkey (preferably dark meat for juiciness)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional, such as cheddar or Swiss)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Condiments of choice (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine turkey, onion, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
  2. Form the mixture into four patties, slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
  5. Toast the buns until golden brown.
