- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
- Melt butter and mix with brown sugar, then pour into the pan.
- Slice bananas and arrange on top of the brown sugar mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat eggs with granulated sugar, then add vanilla and buttermilk. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour batter over bananas and bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then flip onto a serving plate.
