- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mash bananas, then mix in butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour, then combine with wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then slice and enjoy.

- For best results, use ripe bananas for sweetness.
