Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the shrimp on a baking sheet, laying them flat.
  3. Mix bread crumbs, crab meat (if using), onion, celery, garlic, parsley, melted butter, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each shrimp with the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the stuffed shrimp.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add more spices to the stuffing as desired.
